This is a picture by Ansel Adams. He is very likely the single most recognized photographer by name. His sweeping views of the stunning Western United States were unprecedented views to the vast majority of Americans at the time they were created.
I like this picture because I like the effect of how the cameras focus is on the rocks and the mountains are in the background. I also like how you can see the sun rays gleaming down.

This picture is by Alfred Eisenstaedt. If there is perhaps one iconic photo that stands out from World War II,  it has to be “VJ Day, The Kiss” which depicts a soldier and a pretty young nurse in an impassioned kiss on VJ day in 1945. This famous photograph is perhaps one of the most well known from Alfred Eisenstaedt, the father of photo journalism.
I like this picture because I think its really cute and I love the story behind it.

This is a picture taken by the photographer Nigel Barker. He, is currently best known for his role as a Photographer and judge on Tyra Bank’s hit show America’s Next Top Model, but his career did not begin behind the camera it started in front.  Barker spent ten years as a top male fashion model traveling the world to pursue his career.
I like this picture because I like the colours of her eyes and her reflection on the water. I also like the fog with the light in the background.
