Jan
Von Holleben was born in 1977 in Cologne then he was brought up in Southern
Germany. He had a strong connection with both his photographic work and his
parents who had a strong influence. By
the time he was 13, he followed his father’s photography career by getting a
camera and experimenting with all kinds of tricks. He practiced with his family
and friends with technique. He studied teaching kids with disabilities in
Freiberg, then he moved to London and he earned a degree in the theory and
history of photography at Surrey Institute of Art and Design. He worked as a
picture editor, art director, and photographic director. He set up 2
photographic collectives on called Young Photographers United and photodebut,
His work was focused on the “homo ludens” the man who learns from play. Jan Von Holleben’s work is exhibited
internationally and has been published around the world.
I like this picture, its cool how Jan Von Holleben can actually make it look like they are flying through the jungle. One thing that I think could make it look better is if they put down logs to make them look like trees to give it more of a jungle effect.
This picture is cute but I think it could be more realistic of they put down a sheet and made it look like the sky because it doesn't look very real. I like how they put the cape to make it look like its blowing in the wind.
I really like this picture its very cute and realistic. I like how it looks like the boy is sitting on a branch and the little girl is a fairy floating and listening to his music. It reminds me of Peter Pan and Tinkerbell.
